Teterin’s joint venture company, Cirrus Power Systems, has been successful in winning the overhaul to a Jenbacher 416 engine used for power generation and is fuelled by biogas from waste water.

Cirrus technicians were involved on-site to decommission and disconnect the alternator, remove the engine and ready the unit for shipment to Teterin/CPS’s joint facility in Newcastle.

Teterin’s role on the overhaul will be the condition assessment of the component parts and reconditioning those parts ready for engine reassembly by Cirrus technicians.

“We are really excited to have the J 416 engine in the workshop as it further represents the success of Cirrus in the gas market and the recognition by the customers of the benefits of having their engines overhauled in-country by Teterin and Cirrus by skilled technicians.”
